Finally Google Play Books is launched and a best alternative for other e-books reader app such as Kindle and the Aldiko . The Google Play Books is an awesome app and when you open it the first page consist all the books in your library . You can also click on the play store icon at top-right corner to browse for more books and read them .
There is a good categories in the Google Play Book Store . You can click on the Title of any book and it will give more detail on the following book and also reviews about it and ratings of the preferred book .
The Reader is free , however some books may be not free . If a book is free you can click on Open and it will be added to your library from where you can read it . There you can also see a blue pin icon and clicking on that will download the e-book and you can read it when you are offline . When you want to remove a book just click on it for a while and it will be successfully removed from the library .
The reading is also quite comfortable . The reader provides option such as changing font size , the font type , day/night view and even the alignment . To change the page you can click on left or right edges of the scree , swipe fro right to left or vice-versa or swap from up to down . Tapping on the middle of the scree brings up the menu bar of the Google Play Books App and a slider on the bottom which inform you about the Page number . There is also a dictionary feature which will tell you the meaning of a word by long pressing on that word . The App also has a read aloud feature which is handy for Google Play Book Apps . It also syncs your reading history and you can resume from where you left of the reading which is also a great thing for the this e-book reader App . Price : Free
